Most of us love to see our dog playing in the yard. With this, we have fear also, about the safety of the dog. For this purpose, many security systems are there in the market, to provide safety to pet dogs. These security systems protect dogs from lost in the jungle or from going between the traffic. Instead of fixing expensive fencing around the area or yard, it is suggested to install own underground electric dog fence security system.

The underground electric dog fence security system is system in which a wire is fixed under the surface of ground which is to be fenced. This wiring comes with a pet collar transmitter and a signal receiver. The pet wears the collar and whenever a pet or dog tries to cross the fenced area then the receiver receives the signal. The buried wire transmits the signals on pet collar, and a sound of beep generates from it, if the dog reaches near to the electric fencing.

The underground electric dog fence system provides a facility to keep the dog inside the limit of fenced boundaries. Other pet fencing systems like tall chain link fencing keeps the outer animals or humans away from the fenced area, but in underground electric dog fencing, it can secure only pet dogs from going out of the fenced boundaries but it cannot prohibits the entrance of intruders like humans & canines. Some new type of security systems and pet fence containments are also introduced in market which are wireless. These types of systems works based on signals. These signals are sent and received through the transmitters. This system trains the dogs to stop them from going to areas, where the fence is fenced. Whenever they even touch the fenced boundaries, they get a shock, which prevents them to go out of specific area. These systems are not so successful because in some cases, the dogs are scared off the shock and they avoid even coming out of the house. The underground electric dog fence is better way for securing dogs but it necessary for a person to gain complete knowledge and information before implementing any security system, and to choose the best security system by keeping in mind all considerations.
